Women in Technology at SAP TechEd
SAP TechEd has always been a great knowledge-exchange festival and meeting of the technology tribes. Birds of a feather tend to flock together, but as Marilyn Pratt explains, innovation thrives in an open atmosphere of outstanding people and free collaboration. Here gender is not a factor, and for this reason Women in Technology@SAP is sponsoring a special late night session at SAP TechEd Las Vegas titled, "Embracing Diversity – Driving Innovation." This session welcomes both men and women attendees. Read Marilyn's blog to understand why you need to attend.

SAP Mentor Michelle Crapo recently stressed the value of SAP TechEd educational sessions for learning key innovation technologies like mobile, in-memory database, and cloud computing. Michelle provides lots of compelling reasons why "SAP TechEd is THE EVENT … for anyone who wants to learn about SAP."

Mentor and Platinum contributor Tammy Powlas shares the enthusiasm in her recent blog, "It's not about Marketing." Be sure to watch the video and find out why Tammy "simply can't wait" to attend SAP TechEd Las Vegas.

The upcoming SAP TechEd's are truly learning playgrounds where you can meet some of the outstanding Women in technology@SAP like Marilyn, Michelle, and Tammy. Share experiences, collaborate, and learn new stuff.

  5. How Much Energy Is Your Server Using? How Much Could an Energy-Efficient One Save You?
How can a company be sure that the energy-efficient server it chooses is truly a sustainable one? To help, SAP and partners introduced the SAP server power standard application benchmark, which tests a vendor's server, allowing that vendor to demonstrate the server's efficiency. Read this SAP Insider article for all the details.
